Il
feudo di Ficilino è parte della Baronia di Sperlinga.
1. - Di essa s’investi'
a 5 agosto 1557, Don Simone Ventimiglia Moncada Marchese di Geraci, come
marito di Maria Ventimiglia,
Baronessa di Sperlinga e cio' per il
passaggio della Corona da Carlo V a Filippo Il (Regia Cancelleria
XV° Indizione foglio 113).
2. - Don Perio Andrea de Grimaldis, s'investi del feudo di Ficilino a 10
dicembre 1578, per averlo acquistato dalla suddetta Baronessa,
agli atti
di Not. Antonio Occhipinti di Palermo li 3 ottobre 1577
(Regia Cancelleria
VII° Indizione, foglio 384).
3. - Don Marcello de Grimaldis, s’investì a 8 luglio 1589, per la
morte dello spettabile Perio Andrea, suo padre
(Regia Cancelleria, Il°
Indizione, foglio 265).
4. - Don Marcello Grimaldi, junior, s’investì il 12 novembre 1592
per la morte di Marcello suddetto, senior, suo padre
(Regia Cancelleria,
VI° Indizione, foglio 522).
5. - Donna Maria Grimaldis, s' investi il 28 di Giugno 1594, per la morte
di Marcello Grimaldis, junior, suo fratello in minore età e quale
figlia
unica di Marcello suddetto, senior (Regia Cancelleria, VII°
Indizione, foglio 608); reinvestita a mezzo del suo tutore testamentario,
Giulio de Grimaldi a 31 luglio 1600; e ciò per il passaggio della
Corona da Filippo II a Filippo III (Regia Cancelleria, XIII° Indizione,
foglio 66);
sposò Pietro Andrea de Grimaldi; questi nel nome maritale
e come donatario, si investì a 18 marzo 1604 (Regia Cancelleria,
II° Indizione, foglio 251);
reinvestito a 17 marzo 1622, per
il passaggio della Corona da Filippo III a Filippo IV (Regia Cancelleria
V° Indizione, foglio 236);
fu questi, Barone della Terra di S. Caterina,
Signore dei feudi di Risicalla e Cugno di Moraci.

Donna Maria Crisafi
e Grimaldi di Matteo, s’investì a 16 settembre 1666, per averselo
aggiudicato all'asta pubblica, da mani e potere
dei coniugi Grimaldi suddetti;
come risulta da cedola di 2° Decreto, ricevuta agli atti della Gran
Corte, li 7 gennaio 1655
(Regia Cancelleria, V° Indizione, foglio 364
retro).

Don Pietro Crisafi,
s’investì della Baronia e feudo suddetto, a 23 marzo 1673, come
dichiaratario di Maria
suddetta sua sorella,
agli atti di Notar Giovanni Chiatto da Messina li
16 gennaio 1673 (Regia Cancelleria, XI° Indizione, foglio 92).
8.
- Don Pietro De Paula - Scammacca, s’investì della Baronia e feudo
di Fucillino o Monserrato a 14 gennaio 1678, per averlo acquistato
all'asta
pubblica dalla Regia Corte; a questa apparteneva per averlo confiscato
ad esso Pietro Crisafi,
messinese ribelle (R. Cancell. I° Indiz. foglio 90);
questi ottenne
di commutare il predicato di Fucilino in quello di Monserrato, in forza
di autorizzazione del
Tribunale del Real Patrimonio in data 23 ottobre 1667.
9. - Don Ottavio De Paula, s’investì a 28 Marzo 1699, per la morte
di Pietro suddetto, suo padre (R. Cancell., VII° Indiz., foglio 285).
10. - Don Antonino De Paola, s’investì a 20 dicembre 1755, come
primogenito e per la morte di Ottavio suddetto, suo padre
(Conserv., vol.
1169, Invest., foglio 68).
11. - Don Domenico Barone e Moncada, s’investì a 20 febbraro 1770,
per sentenza proferita a suo favore dal Tribunale dei Concistoro,
a 1 marzo 1768,..........................

Grimaldi, junior, invested the 12th November 1592 for the death of the
aforesaid Marcello, senior, his father
(Regal Chancellery, VI° Indizione,
sheet 522.

- Donna Maria Grimaldis, invested the 28th June 1594, for the death of
Marcello Grimaldis, junior, her brother in smaller age and as she was
the
only daughter of the aforesaid Marcello, senior (Regal Chancellery, VII°
Indizione, sheet 608); plowed back of the testamentary tutor,
Giulio de
Grimaldi the 31 July 1600; and that for the passage of the Crown from Filippo
II to Filippo III (Regal Chancellery, XIII° Indizione, sheet 66);
she
married Peter Andrea de Grimaldi; in the marital name and as donator, invested
the 18th March 1604 (Regal Chancellery, II° Indizione, sheet 251);
plowed back to 17 March 1622, for the passage of the Crown from Filippo
III to Filippo IV (Regal Chancellery, V° Indizione, sheet 236);
Baron
of S. Caterina, Gentleman of the feuds of Risicalla and Cugno di Moraci.

- Woman Maria Crisafi and
Grimaldi di Matteo, invested the 16th September 1666, as she adjudicated
it to a public auction, from the hands and
power of the aforesaid Grimaldi
spouses; as it turns out from Decree coupon 2nd, receipt to the actions
of the Great Court, the 7th January 1655
(Regal
Chancellery, Direction, V° Indizione, sheet 364 back).

- Don Pietro Crisafi,
invested of the aforesaid Barony and feudo, the 23th March 1673, as declared
from the aforesaid Maria
his sister, to the
actions of Giovanni Chiatto from Messina the 16th
January
1673 Regal Chancellery, XI° Indizione, sheet 92).

- Don Peter De Paula and Scammacca, invested of the Barony and feudo of
Fucillino or Monserrato the 14th January 1678,
as he acquired it to
the public auction from Regal Court; to this he belonged
for averlo confiscated to Pietro
Crisafi, rebellious from Messina (Regal
Chancellery, I° Indizione, sheet 90); he obtained to commute the precedent
one of Fucilino in the one of Monserrato in force of authorization of
the
Court of the Regal Patrimony in date 23rd October 1667.
9. - Don Ottavio
De Paula, invested the 28th March 1699, for the death of the aforesaid
Peter, his father
(Regal Chancellery, VII° Indizione, sheet 285).
10. - Don Antonino
De Paola, invested the 20th December 1755, as first son and for the death
of the aforesaid Ottavio, his father
